Vincent G. Banks Residential Subsatnce Abuse Treatment
The Vincent G. Banks Center for Residential Substance Use Treatment (VGB) at David’s Loft Clinical Programs (DLCP) is a level III.3 substance use treatment facility providing:
- 24 hour/7 day a week staffing and supervision;
- 30-35 hours per week of structured therapeutic activities;
- Management;
- Medication Assisted Treatment;
- Mental Health Counseling;
- Case Management;
- Peer Support;
- Psychiatric Services; and
- Health Services.
Patients can expect a length of stay up to 30 days depending upon an ongoing
clinical utilization review of ASAM criteria. Like all DLCP treatment programs,
VGB engages in evidence-based practice including the treatment modalities:
- Motivational Interviewing; and
- Contingency Management Theory.
VGB’s treatment modality also includes aspects of Twelve Step Facilitation (TSF).
Withdrawal management will be provided to patients experiencing mild to
moderate symptoms of withdrawal associated with opioids, alcohol, and
benzodiazepines based on treatment protocols developed by the World Health
Organization. Individuals experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms or requiring
detoxification will be referred to treatment facilities specializing in those
treatment levels.
